The Secular Democrats of Texas exists to give voice and to represent millions of secular Texans in government. The caucus is not against religion. It will work with the Texas Democratic Party and any allies of the Secular Democrats to achieve the above-mentioned goals. We believe that the Texas Democratic Party is the place for Americans who believe in equal treatment for all people, in freedom of religion, and from religion.

In 2016, we held the first ever secular caucus at the Texas Democratic Party Convention. Three resolutions were adopted to Texas Democratic Party Platform. Over 400 people attended the our caucus at the convention! We need your help to make history, join us, so we can create the first ever standing secular caucus in Texas!
